What You Can Read Here

The site introduces our research fields, researcher profiles, papers and presentations, and data and methods. Analysis notes, articles, figures, and the glossary explain the background and terminology needed to read observations.

Our Research

We compare different kinds of observations and use time-series analysis, frequency analysis, maps, and figures to investigate geomagnetism and the upper atmosphere. Alongside results, we describe the data, processing conditions, and limits of interpretation so that readers can examine the methods.

Support for Researchers and Organizations

We help laboratories, researchers, conferences, and research projects build websites and organize publications for the web. Our experience with sources, figures, and Japanese and English communication informs this work.

Our Company and Two Websites

F-Factory Co., Ltd. operates this site. Academic research and research-support information is published on f-factory.co.jp. General web production, SEO, and marketing services are described on fortune-factory.net. When following an external link, check the destination's operator and conditions of use.

Reading Research Information

We distinguish observations, processing results, interpretations, and hypotheses, and do not fill gaps in knowledge with assumptions. Analysis concerning earthquakes, eruptions, or space weather is not a forecast or warning. We explain technical terms, link to relevant material, and maintain corresponding Japanese and English pages. Where full English detail is not available, an available English summary links to the Japanese version.

We do not publish personal information, confidential research, material before peer review, credentials, or contractual secrets. External data and images are used after their conditions have been checked.

Enquiries and Corrections

For collaboration, data analysis, or a research website, use the Contact page to describe your objective and what you can share. Do not attach or include sensitive research data or personal information in an initial message.

To report an error, provide the page URL and a supporting source. Corrections affecting a conclusion or conditions of use are reflected in both language versions.
