Research Scope
Our main themes are the ionosphere and atmosphere, low-Earth-orbit satellite data, geomagnetic pulsations, relationships between the lower atmosphere or solid Earth and the upper atmosphere, and data analysis and visualization. Each study defines its interval, coverage, data, processing conditions, and comparisons. Changes occurring at the same time are not treated as proof of causation.
Observations and Analysis
We work with different kinds of data, including GNSS-TEC, satellite magnetic and plasma measurements, and ground geomagnetic observations. We record the provider, product, version, quality flags, time basis, and coordinate system, and explain preprocessing, filtering, frequency analysis, and visualization. Observations from moving satellites require particular care in separating temporal changes from spatial structure.
Generative AI in Our Research
We use generative AI as an aid in research. People check generated information and suggestions against original papers, observations, and execution results before making scientific interpretations and judgments.
We also offer generative AI training and adoption support for researchers and research groups.
Papers and Analysis Records
The Publications page lists peer-reviewed papers and conference presentations, including bibliographic details and DOIs for papers. Conceptual diagrams are distinguished from observations, and analytical figures include axes, units, intervals, and processing conditions.
Research and Website Support
Our experience with sources, figures, reproducibility records, and multilingual communication informs websites for laboratories, researchers, conferences, and projects. Commissioning a website does not guarantee a scientific conclusion. Responsibility for research content, peer review, ethics review, and permission to use data remains with the client and is separate from website development.
Collaboration and Enquiries
We welcome enquiries about collaboration, comparisons of data or methods, figure design, and publishing research outputs. You do not need to send research data with an initial enquiry. Describe your objective, type of data, expected output, what can be published and what must remain confidential, timing, and existing material to the extent you can share.
Using Research Information
Our analysis distinguishes observations, processing results, interpretations, and hypotheses. Information concerning earthquakes, eruptions, or space weather is not a forecast or warning. This site does not provide real-time disaster monitoring, medical, legal, or investment advice, or research ethics review. We do not guarantee publication acceptance or research results. For urgent information, consult official announcements from the responsible public authority.
