Current Use

This site uses Google Tag Manager (GTM) to manage tags and loads tag-management code from Google's servers. Depending on the types and settings of tags enabled through GTM, information may be sent for analytics and other purposes, and cookies or similar technologies may be used. We plan to introduce Google Analytics 4 (GA4) through GTM. Before activating analytics, we will confirm the information collected, purposes, providers, retention periods, cookies, and consent and rejection settings, and update this policy accordingly.

The on-site contact form uses no cookies, localStorage, or other persistent browser storage. Before submission, entered details are held in memory while the page is open. When you send an enquiry, the details are emailed to our designated recipient after consent is confirmed.

To limit misuse, the signing key, submission-token usage records, and rate-limit information based on an IP-derived hashed identifier are kept in dedicated files outside the public web directory. Tokens and rate limits expire after 15 minutes; expired records are removed during enquiry processing. This information is not stored in browser cookies or similar storage. Entered details may be retained in mail queues, received emails, or provider logs. See the Privacy Policy for how this information is handled.

What a Cookie Is

A cookie is a small piece of information that a website stores in a browser and can read on a later visit. Cookies can support sessions, preferences, measurement, or advertising.

Browser storage such as localStorage and measurement identifiers may differ technically from cookies. This policy considers them together where they serve a related tracking purpose.

Strictly Necessary Technology

Cookies may be introduced in the future where needed for a language preference, security, load distribution, or an administrative interface. Administrative cookies that are unnecessary for public reading are restricted to authenticated operation. Purpose, duration, and provider are reviewed, and unnecessary functionality is not carried into public pages.

Server Access Logs

When a page is delivered, hosting or security functions may record an IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer, user environment, and response status in a log.

Access logs differ from cookies stored in a browser. Logs are handled to the extent needed for delivery, fault investigation, and response to misuse or attack.

External Links

Publishers, data providers, conferences, and external video, map, or social services may use cookies when a reader moves to or loads their content. Check the URL, provider, and cookie and privacy settings before or after opening the destination.

Embedded Content

An external video, map, or social post can transmit information to a third party merely by being displayed. Before adding an embed, we review its need and alternatives. Where practical, we consider loading only after a click, providing a static image and ordinary link, and identifying the provider and purpose.

Future Analytics

Before introducing analytics or another non-essential cookie, we review fields collected, purpose, provider, retention, third-party disclosure, and any international transfer, and update this and the Privacy Policy first.

Consent, refusal, and settings controls are provided where required by applicable law and the technology used.

Browser Controls

You can inspect, remove, or reject cookies through your browser settings. This site's contact form does not require cookies. Rejecting all cookies may prevent an external service or a future optional function from working. Consult the official help for the browser in use for the available controls.

Revisions and Contact

This policy is reviewed when storage technology, embeds, analytics, or external services change. A material revision is displayed with a new last-updated date. For a question about cookies or storage, tell us the page URL, browser, and storage item you observed. Do not send sensitive information.
