Workflow

We work in stages: agreeing goals and requirements, planning the structure and copy, designing and building the site, reviewing it before launch, and handing it over. Smaller improvements use only the stages needed.

RESEARCH SUPPORT7 SECTIONS

Consultation and Requirements

We discuss your purpose, audience, information to publish, available material, and update arrangements. Pages, functions, bilingual coverage, responsibilities, cost, and schedule are then agreed. Content reviewers, the final approver, and information that must remain private are identified at this stage.

An initial discussion can start with the site URL, the problem, the output you need, and your preferred timing. Existing copy, publications, figures, photographs, budget constraints, and external contracts can be shared as they become available.

Structure and Copy

We agree the sitemap and the role of each page, then develop headings, copy, related links, and contact routes. Publication data, figures, Japanese-English pairing, and policy copy are organized where needed. Your reviewers confirm facts and publication rights.

Design and Implementation

Key-page designs or prototypes are reviewed using the agreed structure and copy. We refine how readers find information and read long text or figures, then implement the work in the agreed environment. WordPress, static HTML, Markdown, or other update arrangements are selected around the editors and their tasks.

Pre-launch Review

In a review environment, we check the content, Japanese-English correspondence, links, desktop and mobile display, and contact routes. Accessibility, permissions, and security considerations are reviewed within the agreed scope. Corrections and final review are completed before approved material is published.

Publication and Handover

We publish the agreed work and hand over deliverables, update instructions, and review procedures. If ongoing maintenance is needed, its tasks and contact arrangements are agreed separately. Guidance considers actual updates such as new publications, member changes, and bilingual revisions.

Schedule and Reviews

The process is adjusted to the project's size and the readiness of its material. Changes caused by material delivery, reviews, approvals, external assessments, or scope changes are shared as they arise.
